It was tough deciding the winner in the 'Artist of the Decade' contest we ran during the Broadcast of the Special on CBS-TV. We received hundred of entries and our crack panel of judges, (All the girls in the fan club office), had to spend a lot of time in trying to decide which entry was the best as there was so many good ones. After much deliberation, and a little bickering, they finally decided on the entry sent in by Shawna Koch of Hamilton, Monday. Congratulations Shawna. Your prizes are on the way. 'The whole concert was great, terrific in fact. However, the moment or 'thing' that struck me as the best was simply this; Everytime, EVERYTIME, the camera panned to the audience, they were singing along with the song. Everybody knew the words. That in itself, says something about King George.'
