The Academy of Country Music has announced that George Strait's Album 'Troubadour' has been chosen as one of the five finalist for the ACM's 'Album Of The Year'. The award will be presented on the Academy of Country Music Awards television show that will be broadcast from Las Vegas on April 5th.
The ACM had previously announced the Strait was a finalist in four other categories including, 'Entertainer of the Year', 'Male Vocalist of the Year', 'Song of the Year' for 'I Saw God Today' and 'Video of the Year' for 'Troubadour'.
The latest nomination swells Strait's record setting total of nominations to 79. He has already won 19 times.
